Kahlee and Digital Martyrs present the latest visual release from their album, #ReBlessed. “For My People” is an anthem for the masses. Enlisting support from fellow Fresh State crew-mate, Uptown Swuite and Beatrock Music‘s latest addition, Odessa Kane, the video covers more than America’s current state. It sheds light on age old issues that still exist in today’s society. With so much going on in the world Kahlee says, “Sometimes you gotta play your position and make a move for your family and community. That’s why this is for my people.”

Reclaiming the Community is a coalition of individuals, community leaders, and organizations that embrace the rich history and diverse culture of Southeast San Diego, and recognize the region’s ability to become a leader in community participation. This is the beginning of a communal effort to reclaim our streets, our community, our future – our narrative. Too often outside influences and special interests make vital decisions about our neighborhood. The truth is, we know what Southeast needs and we know we can create that place. Please join us and spread the word so we can continue building a healthier community – one where every person has an opportunity to thrive.
